The Grand Ronde Veterans' Pow-Wow was held last weekend, July, 11th-13th at the new tribal grounds located near Fort Yamhill.
There was many traditional dancers, music, and grand entries were held each day. Local veterans organizations including the American Legion participated in these grand entries. Veterans were honored and recognized. The weather was hot, with temperatures at or above 100 degrees during the day. The winds were steady.
Sheridan Post #75 sold chicken dinners for $5.00 a plate which included; chicken hind-quarters, a scoop of beans, and a roll.

The Sons of the American Legion sold their famous "Ham Dogs".
Auxiliary Unit #75 sold raffle tickets for a garden basket and helped the the Northwest Indian Veterans Association (NIVA) with T-Shirt Sales.
