The 90th Annual Department of Oregon American Legion Convention

The American Legion Auxiliary Sheridan Unit #75 took honors at the Department convention held in Albany, Oregon.

Awards received included: Children and Youth Best Year Round Report for Membership 10-35, Overall Community Service involving the American Legion Family, (The American Legion, The American Legion Auxiliary, and The Sons of The American Legion) and the Alena Friesen Unit Activities Trophy.



3 delegates from Unit #75 attended convention including: Jackie Gordon - Unit President, Julie Gordon - Vice President, and Marietta Smith.

Not only is Jackie the President of Unit #75 but she was installed as District #2 President at the end of convention. Juanita Gunder, (Past Department President) from Canby Unit #122 is the District #2 Vice President.

Cindy is from Sherwood, Argonne Unit #56 she was elected the new Department Auxiliary President for 2008-2009.
